I dont have a problem with other religions and even dated a guy who liked to take me to church with him. There are some christian concepts i agree with and some i dont. I do live my belief tho. I don't really know what to say. I like small town living, because that's what I know and that's what I like. I'm an old fashioned kind of guy. I went to the same high school that my grandfather and both of my parents went to. My name is Kim--well, legally, it's Kimberly...but I hate that. I love to laugh and tease, but I also have a serious side that makes me a dependable and protective friend. I grew up near the Poconos here in Pennsylvania and then went to college to study biology and become a medical technologist. The lab was a great place to meet different people, but it wasn't enough. I sent in applications to medical school on a whim...and got in. I just graduated.

It has been a long, sometimes difficult road but more than worth the ride. Taking care of people is my calling. I am entering a family medicine residency in rural Pennsylvania, and I particularly love obstetrics. I am an active observer, and while my interest always lies in the patients for whom I'm caring, the images that often stick with me are those of the new fathers holding their babies for the first time. The look of awe combined with joy and raw terror really cannot be captured on film. In all seriousness, I think it is a rare instance when someone is able to say she is honestly happy, and I am most definitely happy.

I consider myself a busy person, but I spend most of my time doing what many would consider idle hobbies. I am always reading something. I love, love, love creative writing--particularly poetry and fiction--and this has evolved into some online roleplaying and (cough) D&D. Yes, I am a huge geek, but most people don't know it. I was a competitive swimmer for 12 years and occasionally participate in masters swimming teams, though my stamina is nowhere near what it used to be. And I love watching movies--usually at home--though nothing compares to a nice Saturday afternoon matinee on a lazy weekend.

Personally, I'm a walking contradiction. I believe in a woman's right to choose, but think the death penalty is state-sponsored murder. I am very interested in graffiti/street art and Egyptian art. I love my family and friends. They are the most important thing in my life and I would do anything for them. I am also very religious. Hi everyone. Thanks for stopping by. My name is Tim. I'm the father to four wonderful children. Three are all grown up and are starting their own families but I still live alone with my youngest son. He's nine and he's my world. Regardless of my devotion to him I still find time for me. I like to read. Mostly newspapers and news magazines. I enjoy reading the Bible as well. I like to start my day early and end it early. I feel a need to rise and tackle the day so I can just enjoy the evening. I go to the gym often enough but I don't obsess over it. I like to watch sports but I'm fine not watching them as well. No game is that important to me that I could not miss it. One exception here applies. My sons soccer games. I've got to see them all.
